Radio Flyer Retro Rocket Review
I know sticker stripes may not seem like something to worry over when you buy a toy that eventually will see some serious wear and tear but since it is made by Radio Flyer and costs between $49- $59 I expected better.
My search for a push/riding toy continues since this one is on it's way back to the store I bought it from.
Below is the one pictures I did get of my son while first trying out the toy. The nicest thing I can say about this item is that it is cute and does look great in photos.

Picture Perfect
Here are the best picture management/memory keeping sites I have found so far.
Shutterfly - The Shutterfly albums are the best quality albums with so many customizing options. The only downside is that the albums and personalized items can be costly. Just be sure to check out the current Special Offers before processing an order.
Kodak Gallery - Kodak Gallery is a less expensive way to get your prints, customized products, and picture albums. These are definitely not the quality of the Shutterfly products but they are nice enough for the price. As with the Shutterfly site, be sure to look at the current promotions before making an order.
Costco Photo Center - The most economical option for getting prints, picture Cd's, and other customized items such as invites, cards, calendars, and cups. The downside is that you have to be a member.
Hope this gives you new ways to save those picture perfect moments of your own.

Fisher-Price Rainforest Waterfall Peek-a-Boo Soother
Best Crib Toy
New Mom Bothell, WA 8/19/2009Pros: Colorful and Fun, Great Features, Easy to Assemble
Best Uses: Newborn, Infants
Describe Yourself: First Time Parent
This item is so highly recommended by experienced moms, I received two of these at my baby shower and I had not even registered for it. My friends sure knew what they were doing because this item has helped my son fall to sleep soundly and keep him interested when he isn't fully ready for bed many nights. It also was a great learning tool because the first thing he knew how to do on his own was push the on/off button on the soother. I have and will continue to buy this for my new mom friends because I know they will appreciate it as much as I have.

My Review of Grey Two-Stage Seatsaver by Prince Lionheart
Not for leather seats
New Mom Seattle, WA 8/4/2009Cons: Poor Construction
Describe Yourself: First Time Parent
This seat saver did the exact opposite for me. It melted to my leather car seat and I still have not found a cleaner that has been able to remove the sticky rubber from the seat without destroying the leather. Definitely do not buy this product if you have leather seats. If you do, be sure to put something between this item and your seat or you will be as frustrated as I am.

Pumping Tips For The Working Mom
Where to Pump
- I have learned that most offices accommodate for breast feeding mothers so before you return to work, be sure to contact an administrator you know and ask if they are aware of a designated pump room. If they are not, contact your local HR and ask them if they can arrange a private location for you.
- I do recommend getting a battery pack in case the location you are given does not have an available power outlet. The battery pack will also become very handy on those occasions when you might have to pump in the car.
Breast Pump Supplies Needed
- Breast pump - I use a Medela and love it so if you need one I highly recommend a Medela.
- 1-3 breastshields for single breast pump process. (Pumping half the bottle on one breast and the other half on the other breast) I take only 1 with me because I wash mine after each time.
- 2-4 breastshields for double breast pump process. (Pumping both breasts at the same time)
- 3 breast milk containers or breast milk freezer bags for single breast pump process. (I personally prefer containers with lids over the bags because I have had more spills when using the bags)
- 6 breast milk containers or breast milk freezer bags for double breast pump process.
- 6 disposable nursing pads
- 1 packet of sanitizing wipes - to wash your hands when you might not have quick access to a sink and/or to clean your pump area before or after if needed.
- 1 milk cooler (Usually comes with the purchase of a breast pump) to put your milk in the refrigerator or freezer at work when you are done pumping. I recommend putting your milk in the freezer if you have a long commute home or if you do not plan to go straight home after work.
Pump Supplies to purchase - Because Mothers are too busy to clean the breast feeding supplies every day I recommend getting the following quantities of accessories.
- 6-8 breast milk containers (4 usually comes with your pump)
- 1-2 boxes of the disposable nursing pads on hand
- 1 cooler is fine but if you have an additional one it helps
- 6-8 Breastshields and valves/membrane (2 usually come standard with the pump)
- 1 Battery pack (Sometimes comes with the pump)
- 1-2 pack of the freezer bags
- 2-3 packs of sanitizing wipes
- 1 Breastfeeding cover (Buy or make)
I wish you all the best on your return to work. Please let me know if you have any questions.
